What Pasada collects, and why

This app processes personal information under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). It is built data-minimal on purpose.

Passengers

• Account: mobile number, name, hashed password.
• Location: your tagged point and its accuracy, only to tell nearby drivers where to pick you up.
• Party size (solo/group) to help drivers judge capacity.
• Tags auto-expire after a short window and are deleted from our systems within a week; they are never resold or shared.

Tricycle drivers

• Account plus plate and verification documents, kept only to verify real, licensed drivers.
• Check-in location at terminals, used to keep the lane display honest.

What we never do

• Show anyone's full identity to strangers in-app.
• Track you in the background when the app is closed.
• Cache your live location on the device for offline use.

Your rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your data, and file complaints with the NPC. Data protection concerns: privacy@pasada.example (placeholder — set before launch).
